I like making music, combining foods that traditionally don't mix, and designing custom paper masks for folks I know. I also build things for the interweb - websites, games, rich internet apps, content management systems, and anything else you might find yourself in need of. My specialties are Flash and Actionscript, but I'm also versed in HTML/CSS, PHP, ASP, JSP, SQL, XML, Java, Javascript, and most of the big-name multimedia technologies that make things pretty nowadays. I'm currently working through my final semester of college and unfortunately won't be available for full-time employment until May. I am, however, willing to make room for some freelance/contractual work in the meantime. If you're interested in my services, I'd love to hear from you. Sending an e-mail to nickcherryjiggz@gmail.com would be an excellent way to get my attention.

If you're curious to see some of my work (which I suspect is the case, since you have taken the time to read this) then I direct you to the section below. There, I've included some of my favorite projects completed over the past two years. I unfortunately had to exclude a handful of undertakings because of security and/or dependency issues, but if you'd like to know more about these mysterious endeavors, I'd be happy to elaborate.

The final assignment of my last art class was to present a meaningful personal collection in a unique way. In contrast to most of my peers, who apparently hoard nothing but baseball cards and deeply symbolic bottle caps, I chose to put my bookmarks on display.
Having spent a ridiculous amount of time testing this beautifully illustrated and oh-so addictive Brandissimo! project, I now feel completely confident in my ability to sub in for some sickly referee if the NFL should ever find itself in need of my judicial assistance.
Inspired by some of last year's unique music distribution techniques and the upcoming release of our own album, a friend and I got to talking about starting a "record label" based on a set-your-own-price system. What a great excuse to try the new AIR runtime, right?
When real-life running backs have the ability to hurdle five players at a time and morph into tornadoes at the drop of a hat, I'll probably have my television tuned to ESPN 24/7. Until that day comes, I'll be getting my fantastical football fix from this game.
This was my first Brandissimo! job. The objective is pretty simple: Don't get hit by birds falling from the sky like lawn darts. It was designed for kids, but I still would have liked to make it more challenging. Little buggers probably have better hand-eye coordination than I do.

Has my work made you happy? Are you in a position to give me money and benefits? Do you have a sneaking suspicion that doing so may be an absolutely brilliant idea? If you've answered, "Yes!", "Yes!!", and "Yes!!!" to these questions, then you may be interested in the information below (which can also be viewed on my resume). As mentioned before, I'll be available for full-time employment starting May, 2009, and I could be willing to partake in some freelance work over the course of the semester. Email or phone would be the most efficient means of contacting me, but nothing comes close to the charm of a handwritten letter.
